The location is good, and the beds are comfy and clean. However, there's no hot water unless you book it between 9 and 10 am, and they only give you a bucket full. They also switched off the electricity when we went out, claiming it was a power cut. We figured out where the switch was on the second night and turned it on ourselves. A bit sneaky. The toilets leaked when flushed, and the bathroom floor got covered in water.

I had a terrible experience with this homestay. The booking site showed a seafront cottage, but when I arrived, I was given a room 400 meters away from the sea. I paid ?3800 per night and got old furniture, no Wi-Fi, no new towels, shampoo, or bath soap, and no room cleaning. There was no phone or TV either, and no basic amenities, not even a glass of water during our 2-night stay. The staff never checked in on us. They have a no-alcohol and no-smoking rule, but many foreigners were smoking and drinking without any issue. It felt like they gave special treatment to foreigners and ignored Indian guests. I felt deceived and unwelcome. I would not recommend this place at all. If I could give a negative rating, I would.

The place was quiet and peaceful, perfect for families and people with kids because of the no-smoking policy. The exteriors were clean and well-maintained. We took a non-AC room since the weather was cloudy, but if it's sunny, I would recommend choosing an AC room.
