Famous Residency

We went for our relative's engagement, and the engagement hall is okay. It can accommodate 30 to 40 people comfortably. However, the AC was not enough during the function since they only used 2 split ACs. Overall, it's a nice venue for birthdays and other functions.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and in a great location for visiting temples. The staff was friendly and helpful, but they didn't seem to understand hospitality well. We had to ask for everything towels, soap, toilet paper, water bottles, and mosquito repellent. The room had a lot of mosquitoes, and even after using the repellent, we woke up with bug bites. The only way to avoid this was by covering up with the small blanket provided, but it was too small to cover both my feet and shoulders at the same time. I've had fewer problems in Rs. 500/night hotels, and I don't think the Rs. 2,000/night I paid here was worth it given the issues. If I return to this part of Tamil Nadu, I�ll probably look for another hotel.

The worst hotel I have ever been to. The bedspreads are torn, there are no locks on the bathroom, and the AC never works unless you ask the reception to turn it on. Not worth the price at all.
