Iruttukadai Halwa Shop

This is a fantastic place and a must-visit in Thirunelveli! They've been famous for their halwa for over a hundred years. It's only available in the evening, and it's very tasty and fresh. Now they serve high quality, hygienic packaging, so you can store it for up to a week. It's very close to Nellaiapper Temple, but there's no parking; you can only park on the roadside.

This is a very famous halwa shop. I finally bought some here. As others mentioned, I saw people lining up before they opened in the evening. But now, they manage the crowd much better. Everything is packed, and billing is quick. The taste is still great

The halwa had a lot of attitude. I asked for 2 kg, and before giving it to me, they rudely asked for 680 Rs, as if I might run away without paying. Please remember, it's just halwa, not something special. There are many other shops that serve better halwa and treat customers with respect.
