KODAI JOURNEY tours and travels

We had an amazing trip to Kodaikanal, thanks to Mr. Udayakumar and Kodai Journey Tours and Travels for organizing it so well. Apart from safe and skilled driving, Mr. Udayakumar's friendly approach and good knowledge of the place made it a truly memorable experience

We booked a tour to Kodaikanal, Ooty, Mysore, and Coorg with this travel agent. We also booked a hotel, Valley View Inn, through them and received a receipt. When we reached Kodaikanal, the driver, following Mr. Jay�s instructions, tried to accommodate us in a place that wasn�t a hotel, guesthouse, or lodge � it was worse than a haunted place. We contacted Mr. Jay, and he tried to convince us that this place was better than Hotel Valley View Inn. Later, the driver took us to another hotel, Hotel Rifaya, but the rooms were more expensive than the one we had booked. We were confused why the agent wanted us to stay in another hotel. Eventually, we went to Hotel Valley View Inn and showed the booking receipt we got from the travel agent via WhatsApp. The hotel manager was very helpful and contacted Mr. Jay directly. He arranged a great room with a valley view. After some inquiry, we found out that Mr. Jay had not paid the advance to the hotel, even though we had paid him 2 months ago. It was certainly a memorable experience with Jay Tour & Travels.

The cab driver, Mr. Velmani, was very rude and disrespectful. In the last few days of our trip, he completely refused to take us to important attractions in Mysore. It was a total waste of money. People should only use this travel agency for transportation, not for sightseeing.
