La Grrande Malar - The Boutique Hotel Pondicherry

I had a great stay. The staff were very friendly and made sure all my needs were taken care of. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had everything I needed. The breakfast was especially delicious. The location was perfect, close to White Town. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and memorable stay.

I had a pleasant stay at La Grande and would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent stay, not necessarily luxury. The best cafes, restaurants, bars, and beaches in Pondicherry are within walking distance. The staff was polite, and the receptionist was welcoming. Roadside parking is available.

Despite having a confirmed booking through a third-party website, my stay at the hotel was disappointing. When I arrived, the receptionist denied my reservation and claimed there was no record under my name, which was frustrating and time consuming. \nAlthough the room was clean and air-conditioned, the bathroom had issues, with the drain clogging repeatedly. The location was convenient for accessing vegetarian restaurants and bike rentals. However, the receptionist's refusal to honor our booking and the bathroom problems made the experience less than satisfactory. I would not recommend this hotel.
