Pankaj Bhojanalaya(Pure veg & Jain food)

One of the best places for Jain food. We visited more than once during our trip to Ooty as my parents, who are seniors, love Gujarati Jain and North Indian dishes. Their Bhindi sabji tasted just like homemade. The staff is very helpful.

We had two thalis and one Methi Paratha. The thali included one dry sabzi, two gravy sabzis, dal, 4 Phulkas, and rice. The Phulkas were okay, but the sabzis were really bad. The gravy tasted like just red chili powder and salt boiled in water, and the dry sabzi had grated red chili. I would suggest avoiding the thali.

The staff are very rude to customers. If you want to get angry or insulted, this is the place to visit. It's the worst place in Ooty.
