S R Residency

The location is good, but the rooms are not worth the money. The bed sheets weren't changed even after asking. The toilet had a bad smell, and there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room, making it hard to sleep all night. The worst part is that when you check out, they try to get you to leave a good review by being overly sweet.

The hotel is very close to Chennai Central station and is well-maintained. There are many hotel options nearby, but this one on the main road offers good rooms and service at an affordable price. All rooms are A/C and work well. I had an issue with the A/C remote, but it was resolved quickly. It's a good idea to book in advance so the staff can clean and prepare the room. Many eateries are nearby, open from 6 am to 1 am, so food is easily available. A tea stall is right next to the hotel, so tea, coffee, and other items are nearby. Overall, room service and staff behavior were good, and I will visit SR Residency again.

The best part of staying here is its close proximity to the metro and central railway station. We stayed in a suite room, and it was an average experience for 1.9k. The bathroom window was broken and fixed with a plastic net like material.
