The rooms are well maintained, and even though the hotel is inside a shopping complex, there is dedicated parking. I loved the double king-size bed in the family room suite, which was enough for 4 adults. The restroom was spacious, with a good shower area. The hosts were very helpful, constantly checking when we would arrive, and they kindly extended our checkout time by an hour.

There are two hotels with the same name: Shivalaya Homestay and Shivalaya Residency. The homestay has only 4 rooms, but the rooms are good.

The only good thing about this hotel is the spacious room. \nDon�t stay here if you want a hot bath, as their solar heater isn�t working. The plates and spoons were dirty, and they didn�t have any clean ones to give when asked. The reception number is also non-responsive. Overall, it was a bad hotel experience.
