\nSri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), Chennai is a Deemed University formerly known as Sri Ramachandra University. The institute is ranked 57th in University and ranked 21st in Medical by NIRF 2023. The university offers 50+ UG and PG programs in the discipline of Physiotherapy, Allied Health Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Management, etc.�Admission is done on the basis of merit and cutoff criteria of the institute.

\nSri Ramachandra Dental College and Hospital was started in 1995 as a constituent college of Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. �Utilising a floor space of 2,29,000 sq.ft, the college has 330 well equipped dental chairs to fulfill the needs of the Undergraduates and Postgraduates in every branch of dentistry. There are specially designed laboratories and teaching facilities such as lecture halls, auditoria and departmental seminar rooms and departmental libraries which make this a well recognised institution in the country. \n� Candidates will be trained at the Centre for Sports Science, SRIHER, a premier sports science centre in India that has collaboration with international universities including UK and Australia
\n� Centre for Sports Science (CSS) in the university the only centre in India accredited by Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and International Cricket Council (ICC)
\n� CSS is the approved centre of excellence for SAI, Govt. of India and houses the Khelo India academies for Rowing, Weightlifting and Shooting. CSS is a recognized centre of excellence for Government of Tamilnadu (SDAT) and Kerala (DYSA)
\n� Students will get exposure in different sports
\n� Clinical rotation for hands on Training at various sports academies attached to CSS and outside
\n� Opportunities to work and travel with teams

\nSCOPE:
\nFollowing completion, graduates will be equipped with the theoretical and practical skills to pursue a career with sports teams, government and private sports organisations, sports medicine centres, sports science academic institutions in India and around the world. They can pursue higher research studies to become sought after academicians and researchers.
