The Palm Residency - Ariyanoor

I stayed for a night on my way to Kodaikanal. The hotel is right on the highway with clean and nice rooms. There�s plenty of parking space, and A2B and Polar Bear are right next to it. The children�s play area is a bonus. The hotel staff did a great job by calling me and returning my smartwatch, which I had accidentally left behind.

The room was clean and reasonably priced, but the reception staff was very rude. They asked unnecessary personal questions, as if they were giving the room for free, and were very judgmental. My friend and I (both women) took a single room, and the receptionist asked why I was staying there since I'm from Salem. It was none of their business. They didn�t arrange proper room service, and we had to carry our own luggage. This issue needs to be addressed immediately, or they�ll lose many customers.

The reception staff behaves poorly, especially towards unmarried couples visiting. They judge people based on their looks and skin tone, which feels inappropriate and unprofessional. Their behavior seems rude and unfair.
