The Spencer Home

We had a terrible experience at Spencer Homes. The room door had a gap, and even after closing and bolting it, you could see through it. We covered it with a scarf. In the middle of the night, my mother saw someone looking through the window. The window was closed, but the mosquito net was nailed with velcro, so the window could be opened from outside. When we called the manager, he wasn�t available. The caretaker came, but he didn�t address the issue, just complained about how difficult it was for him to reach us in the rain. We felt unsafe and left early the next day. The manager didn�t even call to check on us. They didn�t apologize or take the matter seriously. I strongly recommend not staying here as it�s not safe at all.

The best place to stay in Fort Kochi! We stayed there for a couple of days and made great memories. We miss the early morning walks and the food we cooked ourselves. The location is very convenient, so you don�t need your own vehicle.

The location is perfect, but the rooms are terrible. The place is poorly managed with no maintenance. The room was dusty, had cobwebs, and the bathroom was in bad condition with no hot water. The shower didn�t work, so we had to use a bucket. The bathroom wasn�t cleaned properly, and even the mirror was covered in scum. There was no ventilation in the room, so thankfully, the air conditioning helped. The staff were friendly and helpful, but it's such a shame because it's a beautiful old house with a lot of history. Loved the location and the team, but not worth the price.
