The Taste of Malvan

It's a small place but with great hospitality. We stopped for a quick bite at night during heavy rainfall, just before closing, and they still welcomed us. The food was tasty, and the service was excellent.

The fish didn�t taste like the Malvani style. The staff is polite and quick, but the ambience needs improvement. It feels stuffy, and the stairs are difficult for senior patrons. The quantity served was also less compared to other restaurants.

I ordered Malvan curry, but it was tasteless and didn't have the authentic Malvan flavor. I also asked for a surmai thali, but they told me they don't serve it on weekends, even though it was listed on the menu outside the restaurant.
