Vivanta Coimbatore

I visited Coimbatore for the first time, and the hotel was in a great location on Race Course Road. It�s a nice area for a walk or jog, especially in the morning. The hotel room was very clean, and the bed was cozy. The service was excellent. The gym on the 2nd floor was well-maintained, with all the equipment and 24-hour access. They also had a nice swimming pool. I had the complimentary breakfast, which was well-organized with a good variety of tasty and hygienic food, from local to continental. Overall, it�s a great place to stay, whether with family or for a solo business trip.

It wasn't as expected. The rooms were ordinary, and the dinner was average. However, the staff and their service were great. The property is very small, and I couldn't find a garden or any space for kids to play or roam around. The location of the hotel was good, and the breakfast was also nice.

I had dinner there twice, and both times the chicken was not cooked properly. Also, basic beers like Kingfisher were not available on either day, even after I requested them. This was really disappointing, especially from a Taj property. It felt like just an average hotel.
